Kate Hudson talks about Taylor Swift & Travis Kelce on The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon (video)

In a recent appearance on “The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon,” actress Kate Hudson shared her thoughts on the iconic pop star Taylor Swift and her romantic involvement with NFL star Travis Kelce. Hudson expressed her admiration for Swift, highlighting the pop sensation’s unwavering dedication and talent.

During the interview, Hudson celebrated a notable moment when Swift donned the iconic Penny Lane coat, which sparked excitement among fans. The coat, a nod to the character from “Almost Famous,” connected to interesting Easter eggs that Swift often integrates into her work. Hudson pointed out the significance of the number 13, which holds a special place in Swift’s heart, linking it to the release of “Almost Famous” on September 13, 2000, and the Beatles’ song “Penny Lane,” released on February 13, 1967.

In an interview with the Los Angeles Times, Hudson praised Swift’s consistency and artistic integrity. “Taylor Swift has done something so amazing which is that she’s never wavered from her conviction,” Hudson stated. She emphasized that despite the pressures and expectations placed upon her, Swift continues to push forward, cementing her status as an exceptional songwriter. “Her icon status is so deserved,” Hudson added.

The conversation also touched on Hudson’s personal experiences as a mother and her daughter’s admiration for Swift. Hudson revealed that her six-year-old daughter, Ronnie Rose, is an avid Swift fan, affectionately referred to as a “Swifty.” Hudson recounted their experience attending Swift’s Eras Tour, noting how her daughter struggled to stay awake during the performance. “She tried so hard to stay up but halfway through she was in my arms. It was late,” Hudson recalled, showcasing the family’s commitment to supporting the pop star’s career.

Beyond her admiration for Swift, Hudson expressed her appreciation for Swift’s collaboration with former One Direction member Zayn on the song “I Don’t Want to Live Forever.” She praised the production, particularly the work of producer Jack Antonoff, noting how the music resonates with her as a dancer. “There’s something about the production of that song… I listen to music like a dancer, so it’s how my body responds to it,” Hudson explained.

As Hudson continues to celebrate Swift’s contributions to music, her insights reflect the deep admiration many fans share for the artist. With her ability to connect through music and storytelling, Swift remains a powerful influence in the entertainment industry, and Hudson’s heartfelt praises only add to the growing narrative of Swift’s iconic status.
