Gal Gadot Was Nervous to Say the Evil Queen’s Iconic Magic Mirror Line in Snow White (video)

Gal Gadot recently appeared on “The Tonight Show” with Jimmy Fallon, where she opened up about her growing family and her new role as the Evil Queen in Disney’s upcoming adaptation of “Snow White.” With her family now consisting of six members, including four children, Gadot shared the joys and challenges of parenting. “We’re great. We’re exhausted,” she said, humorously acknowledging the chaos that comes with a bustling household.

In a heartfelt moment, Gadot recounted a health scare she experienced during her last pregnancy. She revealed that she had to undergo a thrombectomy due to brain clots, which she experienced after weeks of severe headaches. “I had major headaches for three weeks,” she explained, emphasizing the importance of advocating for one’s health. Her experience serves as a reminder for others to listen to their bodies and seek medical advice when necessary. Thankfully, she and her baby are now doing well, and Gadot expressed gratitude to the medical team at Cedars-Sinai for their life-saving care.

Transitioning to her acting career, Gadot expressed excitement about her role in “Snow White,” where she plays the infamous Evil Queen. “It’s so much fun!” she exclaimed, noting the freedom that comes with portraying a villain. She shared the amusing reactions of her daughters when they learned she would not be playing the title role but rather the antagonist. Her eldest daughter, Maya, was initially thrilled to hear about the film but was taken aback upon learning about her mother’s character.

Gadot revealed that stepping into the shoes of the Evil Queen came with its own set of nerves, particularly when it came to delivering the iconic line, “Magic mirror on the wall, who’s the fairest of them all?” Citing legendary director Steven Spielberg’s advice to “fake it till you make it,” she explained how the grandeur of the costume and character helped her fully immerse into the role. “I even changed my voice, and everything was very dark,” she said, reflecting on the deliciously villainous experience.

As the conversation shifted, Gadot expressed her enthusiasm for singing in the film, hinting at a playful collaboration with Fallon, who joked about wanting to sing with her. The segment ended with a sneak peek of Gadot’s performance in “Snow White,” showcasing her character’s commanding presence and complex emotions.

Disney’s “Snow White,” featuring Gal Gadot as the Evil Queen, is set to hit theaters exclusively on March 21st, and fans are eagerly awaiting this fresh take on the classic tale.
