In the latest interview, Ronaldo opened up about his decision to stay at Al Nassr with a record contract.
After much speculation about his future, Cristiano Ronaldo has officially decided to stay at Al-Nassr for another two years. The Portuguese superstar will receive a basic salary of up to £492 million over the course of the contract – considered one of the most valuable sports contracts in history.

Ronaldo shared that he wants to continue conquering titles with Al-Nassr, as the most notable achievement so far is the 2023 Arab Club Cup.
“Of course, from the first day, I had a commitment that I would make a difference not only at Al-Nassr but also in the country. My goal has always been to achieve something important for Al-Nassr. That is why I extended my contract for two more years – because I believe that I will become a champion in Saudi Arabia.”
⚽Revealing the reason for refusing the Club World Cup
Ronaldo confirmed that he received several invitations to participate in the expanded FIFA Club World Cup, but decided to decline to ensure the best physical condition for Al-Nassr and the Portuguese team.
“I had some offers to play in the Club World Cup, but I thought it was not reasonable because I wanted to have a good rest, prepare well for a very long season – a season with the World Cup at the end of the season.
I want to be ready not only for Al-Nassr but also for the national team. So I decided to play the last match of the Nations League and not think about anything else. I just focus on the club I love.”
🥇 Confidently declare about Saudi Pro League
CR7 confidently asserted that the Saudi Pro League is now in the top 5 leagues in the world, and has much more potential to develop.

“We are still improving, but I believe we are already in the top five. We have shown in the last two years that this league is constantly improving. Only people who do not understand football say that this league is not in the top five. I believe in my words 100%, and the people who play in this league know that.”
👨👩👧👦 Proud of a strong rear
Ronaldo shared that his family is a strong supporter and always supports all his career decisions, including continuing to stay with Saudi Arabia.
“My family has always supported me, no matter what decision I make – not only in Saudi Arabia but also at Juventus , Man United, Real Madrid. The most important thing is that your family supports you, and they have always done that. If they are happy, I am happy. And they are happy. We have a good life, the Saudi people treat us very, very, very well – and that is why we want to live and continue living here.”
