Chris Evans is in no hurry to return to Hollywood, instead, the actor focuses on developing his personal life.
In an interview with GQ, Chris Evans shared his perspective on life. Accordingly, he appears to be in no hurry when it comes to Hollywood film projects. The actor even caused surprise when he affirmed that he did not focus too much on his acting work.
“I believe I’m not one of those movie stars,” Chris Evans began, “I like acting but it’s not something I can’t live without. I don’t pay attention to myself at all. Please Ask the question why black holes exist, that will answer that it is a miracle that I am here.”
As for the Marvel star, he wants to pursue more personal interests instead of continuing his previous acting career: “I can make furniture for no one and still feel happy.”
“Sometimes I wonder if I’m lacking something. For example, I’m a person with a lot of energy. I wake up early, do many things during the day, but don’t always focus on acting,” he said. The Hollywood guy continued, “Sometimes, reading the script is the last thing I want to do.”
For the past several months, the Captain America star has been resting and staying away from the set. This did not make him feel secretive about “missing his job”, he even felt quite comfortable. With current thinking, it seems that Chris Evans will not return to cinema at least in the near future.
Continuing to talk about taking on the main role, the star immediately refused: “I will always run away from any leading role if possible. Someone like Robert Downey Jr. walks into the room and owns the atmosphere. He just needs to be present and has strength, let him be the main actor, let him hold the mic and say the lines. Every profession has two sides and so does an actor. There are things you have to do on set and there are things you have to do afterwards. That’s something I still struggle with.”
