Dr Dre appears to have finalised his divorce with ex-wife Nicole Young – and celebrated with balloons reading ‘Divorced AF’.

The rapper, 56, did not share the image on his own social media page but was seen sitting on a chair infront of enormous metallic balloons breaking the news.

The photo was shared by Xzibit as well as Breyon Prescott who wrote: ‘Hey Well My Brother @drdre Just Told Me It’s Final !!! Congrats, Still Dre.’

Dr Dre, real name Andre Romelle Young, had been embroiled in a messy $1billion legal battle to end his 25-year marriage.

The pair were married since 1996 and share son Truice Young, 24, and daughter Truly Young, 20, before Nicole filed for separation in June 2020.

In June 2021, the NWA star ‘officially divorced’ his former partner, however, the estranged pair were believed to still be at odds over the validity of a prenup.

Nicole had been asking for more than $2million (£1.5million) a month, but Dre’s lawyer previously told the court her client has been voluntarily paying all her expenses since they split.

She also sought $5million (£3.8million) in attorney’s fees but her estranged husband said he has already paid close to $1million (£706,060) voluntarily, even though the divorce documents weren’t even filed until June last year.

Little is known as yet about whether the pair managed to reach an agreement on the figures, but it appears he was celebrating the legal battle finally being over.

The rapper and businessman is also yet to speak out to confirm the divorce has officially been finalised or make any comment.
