In a recent interview, singer Kid Rock expressed his thoughts on Michelle Obama’s decision to skip the upcoming presidential inauguration, suggesting that she appears “a little angry.” Rock, who is preparing for a seven-city tour starting in March, reflected on his experience performing at Barack Obama’s inauguration in 2009. Despite not voting for Obama, he attended the event out of respect for the office of the presidency, a sentiment he urged Michelle Obama to consider as well.

During the conversation with host Jesse Watters, Rock highlighted the importance of respecting the presidency, regardless of political affiliations. He humorously noted that while all other former first ladies plan to attend the inauguration, Michelle Obama’s absence raises questions about her demeanor. “She seems a little angry,” he remarked, prompting laughter from both the host and the audience.

As the discussion shifted to his own involvement in the inauguration, Rock revealed that he had prepared a special performance, emphasizing his desire to contribute meaningfully rather than simply playing background tracks. He recounted working through logistics with the Secret Service, joking about the challenges of coordinating fireworks and other entertainment elements.

Rock, a long-time supporter of former President Donald Trump, also commented on the influx of new supporters embracing Trump now. He welcomed them into the fold, reflecting on the positive qualities he believes Trump possesses, particularly as a businessman. Kid Rock’s candid remarks and humor resonated throughout the interview, showcasing his perspective on political respect and the evolving landscape of celebrity endorsements.
