One notable incident occurred in Marathon, Florida, involving 18-year-old Lewis Barios. Law enforcement responded to reports of disruptive behavior at the Sunset Grill, where Barios and his friends allegedly shouted profanities and threatened staff before attempting to flee the scene on a yacht. Upon being intercepted by the Florida Fish and Wildlife Commission, Barios exhibited erratic behavior, expressing disbelief at the police’s actions. He was ultimately arrested and charged with multiple offenses, including fleeing and eluding in a vessel, disorderly conduct, and possession of undersized fish. Barios was sentenced to 36 months of probation.

Another case involved 22-year-old Marina Valiz, who was arrested for petty theft at a Cape Coral Target store. Recognized by deputies from a previous arrest, Valiz was caught on security footage stealing items valued at $225.
