Alejandro Garnacho turned down the chance to join Al Nassr alongside idol Cristiano Ronaldo, despite almost certainly leaving Manchester United this summer.

According to the Telegraph , Garnacho was given the green light by the MU leadership to find a new destination. Al Nassr Club quickly approached in the hope of convincing the 21-year-old winger to play alongside Ronaldo. However, Garnacho was determined to stay in Europe to continue developing his career.
Transfer expert Fabrizio Romano also added that the young Argentine player prioritizes staying in the Premier League , thereby being ready to face MU if he has to leave Old Trafford.
Chelsea are now said to be considering a swap deal for Garnacho for Christopher Nkunku, who was once on MU’s radar. Napoli have also expressed special interest, with President Aurelio De Laurentiis even claiming: “If he leaves MU, he will explode twice as much. There is something wrong at MU that I cannot explain.”
United are said to want at least £70m for Garnacho, but this figure may be difficult to achieve as clubs know the youngster is no longer in coach Ruben Amorim’s plans.
Compared to Rashford, Sancho or Antony, Garnacho is considered easier to sell because his salary is not too high. Meanwhile, Rashford is aiming for Barcelona, Sancho is being eyed by Juventus after the deal with Chelsea fell through, and Antony is likely to continue playing for Real Betis next season.
A turbulent summer awaits the “Red Devils” and Garnacho’s future will certainly attract many big clubs in Europe in the coming weeks.
