Kyllian Mbappe has broken his silence after rumors surfaced that PSG had accepted a 300 million euro offer from Al Hilal for the French striker.
On the evening of 24/7 , Sky Sports confirmed that PSG had agreed to an offer of 300 million euros from Al Hilal Club for Mbapp and allowed the Saudi Arabian team to negotiate with the French striker. If successful, this will be the largest transfer in the history of world sports.
On Twitter, NBA basketball star Giannis Antetokounmpo posted a picture of his own face with the humorous caption: “Al Hilal, you can recruit me. I also look like Kylian Mbappe.”
Soon after, Mbappe responded to Antetokounmpo by re-sharing the post with 13 funny emojis.
Meanwhile, journalist Fabrizio Romano insists there are no negotiations taking place between Mbappe and Al Hilal at this stage. Currently, the Saudi team is only working with PSG.
However, Al Hilal plans to offer Mbappe an after-tax salary of 200 million euros a year. The French striker’s income can be up to 700 million euros, including commercial contracts and 100% of image rights. If he agrees, Mbappe will become the highest-paid player in world football history.
In addition, Al Hilal also only needs the French striker to sign a one-season contract, thereby allowing the 24-year-old to join Real Madrid on a free transfer in the summer of 2024.
