‘Special’ player actually pleaded Man City to let him leave before transfer window shut

It has been reported that James McAtee requested Manchester City to let him leave ahead of his loan move to Sheffield United.

Now, it seems like James McAtee had no intention to stay put at Manchester City this season as he ended up joining Sheffield United on loan.

Now, it has been revealed that after Cole Palmer’s move to Chelsea, James McAtee had a chance to stay at Manchester City, who was keen on a return to Sheffield United.
