Drake dropped Scary Hours 2, a sequel to the 2018 EP, on March 5 to help build up the growing anticipation for his upcoming studio album, Certified Lover Boy.

All three new songs on the extended play ended up debuting in the top three spots of the Billboard Hot 100 simultaneously, which was a first in the recording industry.

Drake kept it casual-cool in the fashion department in black cargo pants with a multi-colored tracksuit jacket by Sicko and white sneakers.

It was hard not to miss his signature heart design carved out on the left corner of his hairline.

The pop superstar appeared to be surrounded by a mix of friends and security when he was ushered in and out of the recording studio.

The four-time Grammy winner has been hard at work on Certified Lover Boy, which will be his sixth studio album.

The lead single — Laugh Now Cry Later (featuring Lil Durk) — dropped back on August 14, 2020, ahead of the album’s scheduled release in January 2021.

It debuted at number two on the Hot 100 and was nominated for Best Melodic Rap Performance and Best Rap Song at 63rd Annual Grammy Awards.

The release of Certified Lover Boy would eventually be postponed, and Drake would turn his attention to Scary Hours 2.

The song What’s Next has proven to be the cream of the new crop, debuting at number one last month.

Following right behind at number two on the Hot 100 chart was Wants and Needs featuring Lil Baby, while Lemon Pepper Freestyle — featuring Rick Ross came in at number three when they premiered simultaneously.
