Gisele Bündchen is facing “opposition” from children because her parenting style is not like Tom Brady’s.

Gisele Bündchen candidly detailed the challenges of co-parenting with her ex-husband, Tom Brady, in a new interview.

“Sometimes, I get pushback [from the kids], especially because now they’re in two different homes and there are two different ways,” the supermodel told Harper’s Bazaar for her February 2024 cover story, published Wednesday.

Bündchen noted that her 14-year-old son, Benjamin, and her 11-year-old daughter, Vivian, had very different upbringings than she did.

“‘The way you make your room, the way you organize and make your bed is the way you’re going to do your life,’” she recalled telling them. “‘If you’re not learning here and now, then when and with who?’”

The former Victoria’s Secret Angel, 43, and Brady, 46, finalized their divorce in October 2022 after 13 years of marriage.

Brady and Bündchen finalized their divorce in October 2022.

Bündchen told the magazine that she has faced an increase in public scrutiny since the split, though she shared that she does not “worry about what other people say” about her.

“If I’m going to be affected by that, I’m never going to live my truth,” she explained.

“When you’re trying to be this person who tries to please and tries to be accepted and tries to get that from the outside world, you’re never going to be truly who you are.”

The Brazil native said she “can’t really worry about what other people” have to say.

The Brazilian beauty previously shut down speculation that she and Brady separated over his decision to play one more season of football following a brief retirement.

“Wow, people really made it about that,” she told Vanity Fair in March 2023. “What’s been said is one piece of a much bigger puzzle. It’s not so black and white.”

Bündchen called the gossip “very hurtful” and “the craziest thing [she’s] ever heard,” insisting she “always cheered” for her then-husband and his legendary career.

“If there’s one person I want to be the happiest in the world, it’s him, believe me,” she emphasized. “I want him to achieve and to conquer.”

Bündchen previously called speculation she and Brady split over his career “hurtful.”
The exes were married for 13 years.

The “Lessons” author shared that she and the seven-time Super Bowl champion simply “wanted different things” as “time” went by.

Brady, for his part, has only spoken about the divorce a handful of times, though he has stressed the importance of co-parenting with his ex-wife.

The retired athlete also shares 16-year-old son Jack with ex Bridget Moynahan.
