Tiger Woods has finally appeared on Barstool’s golf podcast, The Fore Play Pod. He joined Riggs, Trent, and Frankie on a golf course to share some tips and have some fun.
Each of them had a special aspect of their game that they discussed with him, and by the time he reached Riggs, who needed assistance with his driver, they had agreed to hold a long-drive tournament.
However, Woods did not simply stripe it as usual. Nope, he went on his knees and still outpaced Riggs.
Woods, who was involved in a catastrophic vehicle crash in 2021, has been limping for the past few years. He just returned to the PGA Tour for the Hero World Challenge in the Bahamas, where his limp was nearly non-existent.
Tiger fans were ecstatic to see him get down on his knees, smash it so well, and then essentially rise up without incident.
The video went viral on social media, receiving nearly a million views on YouTube in just over 24 hours.
Many folks enjoyed this moment. Even The Today Show featured a segment about the interaction. Only Tiger Woods could move the needle enough to get the YouTube video televised on national television.
It’s also bizarre to consider that this could be one of the last times Woods recorded something in Nike clothing since their 27-year relationship ended earlier this week.
What an exciting opportunity for Woods to enter a new world. The Big Cat is not known for engaging in such behaviour.
This viral video would never have occurred 15 years ago because Woods was not as laid-back. Now that he has a 14-year-old son, who most certainly watches Fore Play, the 15-time major champion appears to have chosen to have some fun.
This video demonstrates that growing the game can take many different forms.
