Kylie Jenner’s Hidden Hills mega-mansion continued to take shape this week – three years after she initially purchased the empty plot of land to build her third home.
The 26-year-old’s new home – which has been photographed in various states of progress since her historic purchase – now boasts a sloping grey roof and a full layout.
The land, which Kylie purchased for a record-breaking $15 million in 2020, currently has what appears to be the complete structure of the home.
On the side of the palatial mansion there is a large garage-like structure, which could be used in the future to house her expansive collection of pricey sports cars and SUVs.
Though there is still plenty of work until completion, the property — which will reportedly have 15 bedrooms once finished — is showing good signs of progress.
The main house is expected to be around 18,000 square feet, according to Architectural Digest, and one of the other structures will be for a smaller guest house.
Kylie — who has had to deal with stalkers in the past — will also have a building created to house her security team as they watch over her land.
In addition to her mansion, the Kardashian star is constructing a pool — which will likely be similarly opulent — and some kind of sports court for recreation and to facilitate her workouts.
Those structures were listed on her approved blueprints, but she could also change her mind and opt to construct different custom structures instead.
Kylie purchased the five acres of land in Hidden Hills in May 2020.
The new home will keep her close to family, as the property is located near her mother Kris Jenner and half-sister Khloe Kardashian’s compounds.
Kris has an 8-bedroom mansion that she bought for $20 million, while Khloe built her home on a property that she purchased for $17 million.
Kylie’s other half-sisters Kim and Kourtney Kardashian also live nearby.
After the off-market, all-cash sale of the property two years ago, design plans were approved for a ’12-car garage, guesthouse, barn, guard shack for a full-time security detail, sports court and a pool.’
Kylie is not the only A-lister to have purchased the property – as Miley Cyrus bought it in 2015. The singer’s horses lived there, but she never built a home on it – ultimately selling it three years later.
The reality star’s newest property joins her impressive portfolio. She currently lives in a $36 million mansion in Holmby Hills, and she also has the Beverly Hills mansion that she and her ex Travis Scott are working to sell.
Kylie purchased the Holmby Hills home, where she spends most of her time, in April 2020, just a few months before she acquired the Hidden Hills lot.
It is unclear what kind of style Kylie may favor for her new mansion since she is starting from the ground up, but her Holmby Hills home favors a boxy modern style. The minimalist mansion is painted all-white, with simple gray trim.
That home includes a pool, which she will be looking to replicate with her upcoming mansion.
At just 17, Kylie bought her first house in 2015, a 4,851-square-foot home in her native Calabasas. She purchased the house for a huge $2.7 million, and sold the home two years later for an eye-popping $3.1 million.
The following year, Kylie’s portfolio continued to grow as she bought a Hidden Hills mansion – complete with six bedrooms and seven bathrooms for $6 million – but she sold the property in 2018 for $6.7 million.
Clearly happy with her location at the time, three months later, Kylie bought a house right next door for $4.5 million, which she went on to sell in 2017 for $5.3 million.
In 2018, Kylie purchased a $13 million Beverly Hills investment home with her then partner Travis.
Kylie and Travis stayed in the home briefly, along with their daughter Stormi, but ultimately put in on the market for an eye-popping $21.9 million.
Kylie Jenner’s lavish property empire
$15million plot of land (5 acres) in Hidden Hills
Jenner made a record-breaking $15million purchase on 5 acres of land in Hidden Hills in May 2020.
She is not the only A-lister who has purchased the property as Miley Cyrus had bought it in 2015 as her horses lived there but never built a home on it as she sold it three years later.
$36.5million Holmby Hills compound
Purchased in April 2020, Kylie’s new spot is billed as a ‘resort compound,’ sprawling over 19k square feet and boasting four guest houses. It also has a private guardhouse, professional kitchen, and several at-home bars.
The property was originally listed at $45million, meaning Jenner got a discount.
$12million Hidden Hills mansion
Kylie snagged her current home in 2016, meaning she’s been there longer than any of her other abodes. The 13,200 square feet property is nestled on 1.4 acres of land.
Though she just bought a new place, it doesn’t look like she has plans to sell anytime soon, as the home is not listed anywhere.
$13million Beverly Hills investment home with Travis Scott
Kylie and Travis decided to pick up their LA home in 2018 as an investment, but did stay their with daughter Stormi briefly.
Talking about the home to People, a source said: ‘Kylie and Travis’s new Beverly Hills house is spectacular. It’s contemporary, but very warm at the same time. The property is also very private.’
$2.7million Calabasas ‘starter home’
Jenner picked up her first home while just 17-years-old in 2015. She chose the location because it was close to sisters Khloe and Kourtney Kardashian. It’s reported that she dig extensive renovations in order to satisfy her ‘edgy’ tastes.
When the house sold to entrepreneur Nikki Eslami in 2017, Kylie is said to have made a $500k profit.
$6million Hidden Hills ‘mini-mansion’
Kylie upgraded in 2016, purchasing a space that was nearly 2000 square feet bigger than her previous digs. It was reportedly home to six bedrooms, seven bathrooms, a home theater, and a four-car garage with epoxy floors.
Jenner sold the spot in 2018 and though it was a private sale, it’s reported she made $1million in profit.
$4.5million ‘office home’ right next door
Jenner decided to become her own neighbor just three months later, picking up the pad immediately next door. Her plan was to make the space into a home office but she put the house on the market just five months later.
It sold to to hockey player John Schiavo in 2017 for about $750k more than she bought it for.
$5million plot of land in Hidden Hills
Jenner originally purchased this vacant piece of land in 2017 with plans to make a garden and horse farm but things never came to fruition.
But she decided to ditch the plot about 10-months later, still making a profit as she offloaded the undeveloped land for $5.35million the following August.
