A custom-designed mansion in Petaluma, California, named Villa Terra Rosa, built for the late Papa Murphy’s founder Terrance ‘Terry’ Collins and his wife Rose, is currently on the market.
The four-bedroom, five and a half-bathroom property was put on the market by listing agents Nicole Marzo of Compass and Abe Matar of Avenue 8 on May 9.
According to the mansion’s measurements, it takes up around 11,000 square feet of living space and more than 3,500 square feet of non-living space.

The Collins’ purchased the mansion in 2005 and spent three years remodeling it.
They eventually named the remodeled property Villa Terra Rosa after their first names and the home’s architectural aesthetic.
Marzo wrote that the property was designed ‘with an Italian hillside village in mind, going over bridges and through water to get home’ in an email to SFGate.
Before entering the mansion adjacent to the Petaluma Golf and Country Club, prospective buyers can get a hillside view of both Sonoma and Marin Counties.
Beyond the driveway is a courtyard with a moat and ‘an olive tree grove evoking the essence of the Tuscan countryside.’

According to its Zillow listing, there is a paved driveway with an inside entrance, and the area surrounding the garage can also accommodate eight cars.
The Villa Terra Rosa’s living rooms features limestone floors that were harvested from a French monastery, perfectly accentuated by the natural light from the arched windows.
It also matches well with the curtains, brick wall, and one of the five fireplaces that are located throughout the property.
Marzo and Matar called the Villa Terra Rosa’s gourmet kitchen ‘the heart of the home’ where guests can enjoy its top appliances, custom cabinetry and an long island that’s ‘perfect for hosting lavishing dinner parties or intimate gathering.’
Next to the kitchen is a dining area that leads out into one of the outdoor patio entrances.
The bedrooms throughout the house are unique with walk-in closets, and one of them even has its own kitchen and bathroom.
Not only are they spacious, but at least two of them have their own fireplaces and another also has an entryway leading outside.
The several bathrooms throughout the house feature a small, sit-in bathtub, a sauna and a steam room to name a few of the property’s amazing amenities.
