Only the super rich can afford such a luxury trip.
The special plane is designed as a 5-star hotel in the air, which is responsible for bringing VIP guests to the North Pole. The journey costs around £50,000.
It was the Airlander 10, the longest plane in the world today, used for the 36-hour exploration journey. The cabin of the Airlander 10 is 92 meters long and is as lavishly furnished as a hotel with windows and glass floors so guests can enjoy the panoramic view outside.
Starting your journey from Longyearbyen in Svalbard, Norway, the “sky hotel” will take you to the North Pole – where you can experience a cruise on the plains. The first flight is scheduled to take off in 2023.
According to the head of the tour company that developed the tour package, this is a trip for guests who want to explore the North Pole in a unique way.
When the plane lands, visitors will tour the Arctic plains, with guidance from the famous expert and environmental activist Robert Swan.
“This is an effort and a milestone in history. There has never been a hot air balloon flight to the North Pole. In addition to enjoying the fresh nature, passengers will experience all services in a super modern aircraft,” the airline’s CEO affirmed.
