He’s Hartbroken.
Kevin Hart admitted he “cried in the car” as he sent his daughter Heaven off to university Friday.
The comedian, 44, who recently revealed he was temporarily wheelchair-bound following a painful injury, shared a sweet family snap on social media moments before the 18-year-old set off for college.
“I’m not crying your [sic] crying…. So proud of my daughter….I can’t even say little girl anymore because you have blossomed into the most amazing young woman ever!!!!!” Hart wrote on Instagram to his 178 million followers.
“God knows I am beyond proud of you and that I love you with my all. Fly Heav Fly….The world is yours!!!!! My baby girl is off to college…. I cried in the car!!!! #Harts.”
In the image, the doting dad can be seen frowning as his wife Eniko, and kids Heaven, Hendrix, 15, and Kenzo, 5, stand behind him.
The foursome appear to be in Heaven’s dorm room.
Hart shares Heaven and Hendrix with ex-wife Torrei Hart, to whom he was married from 2003 until 2011.
He shares son Kenzo and daughter, Kaori, two, with wife Eniko, whom he married in 2016.
Hart’s post comes just months after he celebrated Heaven graduating from high school with a heartwarming post on Instagram.
“It’s not about me….It has always been about them!!!!!!! I am so proud of my little girl,” he wrote in May. “I am just as proud of my niece sanny for being an amazing example for Heav….Sanny was the first in our family to go to college and graduate…Now My little girl is heading in that same direction.”
“Iron Sharpens Iron….it always has and always will. We have to motivate each other and continue to make ourselves better….Dream big damn it!!!!! Heav you made me so proud yesterday ….Doo, Zo & Ori are all watching you ….You are the best big sister ever!!!!!! We all love you so much!!!!!! #Harts,” he penned.
Hart often gushes over his kids on social media and in interviews, and last year he opened up about Heaven gearing up to fly the nest.
“I love that she’s growing up, that’s my best friend, my heart. And it’s a little emotional. I see myself realizing that that time is coming for her to leave the house and I don’t like it,” he said on “The Ellen Show.”
“I’ve been trying to manipulate her…like, ‘Maybe you need a place here in LA because the schools here are just better,” he said, adding that “she’s talking about New York.”
