Kylie Jenner can fly around the world with her famous family and friends in her own private jet – which at the centre of a new drama right now. The Keeping Up With The Kardashians star, who became a billionaire at the age of 21, provided her personal plane to carry big sister Kim Kardashian and some pals to Las Vegas as part of her lavish 42nd birthday celebrations.

But their trip on ‘Kylie Air’ ended in chaos because the Bombardier Global 7500 jet was unable to touch down in Sin City because of severe weather conditions – meaning the gang missed out on a performance from Usher. Kylie reportedly paid a whopping $72.8 million for her pink customised aircraft, which has an entertainment suite, master bedroom and a massive closet space, but it has led to her being labelled a ‘climate criminal’.

Inside the jet

The extravagant private jet is covered head to toe in pink decorations to match Kylie’s classic colour scheme.

The cabin is 8 feet wide with 28 windows and the outside was painted with two enormous pink swooping lines and the logo for her skincare brand, Kylie Skin.

When Kylie and her pals hop on board the plane they are often greeted by air stewardesses wearing pink uniforms and a bright pink carpet up to the stairs.

The 25-year-old, who is no stranger to luxury, has installed 10 white leather seats, embroidered with her initials, which have far more leg room than you’d ever get on a commercial flight.

There’s no such thing as cramped leg room and arguments over reclining seats in front of you on board Kylie’s plane – and every one has a soft Hermès blanket.

There are lights along the walls that can be programmed to shine in different hues and a bar with a sign that says ‘Kylie’ in neon lights – in case you forget who owns it.

Herstar-studded passengers have also been known to receive silk Kylie Skin pillows and eye masks to help them sleep, as well as her cosmetics and personalised loungewear.

Delicous food is served on board; It’s very spacious inside

Kylie doesn’t serve up your typical plane food, once revealing the decadent seven-course menu that was being served onboard.

Roasted tomato bisque to cheese and spinach ravioli with butter sage pesto featured on the menu, as well as Kardashian favourite Chinese Chicken Salad and Seared Mahi Mahi with pineapple mango salsa, sauteed spinach, grilled vegetables and pomme puree.

With the tables folded down, posh tableware is laid out ready for the delightful meals to be served up for passengers.

It’s not just the food that is mind-blowing, as Kylie’s plane also has a living area with a cosy looking sofa set up in front of a big screen TV.

And if things get a bit too much on a long-haul flight, Kylie can retreat to the master bedroom, which has a full-sized double bed to take a snooze in.

There are also two bathrooms, a large closet, a storage room for baggage, a gallery, and a crew rest area.

Family trips

Kylie Jenner defiantly shows off her super luxe private jet; Kardashian cousins Stormi and True were twinning on Kylie Jenner’s luxury private jet flight

Kylie, who is mum to four-year-old Stormi and baby Wolf with Travis Scott, loves to bring her family members and closest pals along for the ride.

In December 2020, she was joined by sister Kourtney Kardashian and her ex Scott Disick as well as Khloe Kardashian, niece True, and her dad Tristan Thompson for her birthday.

All the women on the flight were given matching tie-dye hoodies and sweatpants, while Kylie’s employees were seen carrying big gift baskets filled with all sorts of swag, such as custom pillows.

When Stormi turned two, Kylie and Travis took their daughter to Disneyland on the plane, with her mum posting a sweet snap on Instagram captioned: “Storm’s first Disney trip.”

The entire family also got on board in June 2020 for Kim’s daughter North’s seventh birthday – flying to Wyoming to celebrate.

They always roll out the pink carpet; Kim downed shots on the plane for her birthday

Obviously the most recent plane journey didn’t end well as they were unable to land in Las Vegas due to the weather, forcing them to go back home.

“Vegas baby!” an excited Kim told the camera as she was filmed boarding the white jet clad in a glittering diamond encrusted bra and matching flared trousers as a troupe of showgirls waved her on.

Kylie’s jet had been decked out with birthday balloons, feather boas, personalised Kim shots and masks of Kim’s face everywhere for the party to continue in the air.

There was even a personalised Kim cocktail menu, with her passengers supping KimTinis, Billionaire’s Beverage and the imaginatively titled Keeks’ Kougar Kourage.

Despite the incredible effort, luck was not on the Kardashians’ side for the night and an upset Kim returned to Instagram to tell her followers: “The plane couldn’t land due to the wind so looks like our party and Usher concern isn’t happening. We are heading back home.”

Climate backlash

Kylie has faced a strong backlash for using her private jet for incredibly short trips – with some branding her a ‘climate criminal’.

The situation has been made worse by Kylie repeatedly bragging about using her plane in ‘tone deaf’ Instagram posts.

She was previously blasted for taking a 12-minute flight to Palm Springs to Van Nuys in Los Angeles, which would have only taken 40 minutes in a car.

The reality TV star then flew from Van Nuys, to Camarillo in in Ventura County, California.

Kylie’s jet-setting enraged her following due to the fact she drove 30 minutes in the opposite direction to get to the airport – with many adding that’s the ‘worst thing’ about her choice.

Three days later, Kylie ignored the backlash by sharing a caption of herself and beau Travis Scott on board their jet with the caption ‘You wanna take mine or yours?”

Unsurprisingly, hundreds of Kylie’s fans and followers alike flocked to criticise her choice of upload, with one writing: “Who’s plane should we pollute the earth today.”
