Cardi B appeared prominently on the street after the noise, throwing microphones at the audience
Previously, during a performance in Las Vegas on July 29, a female audience member threw water on rapper Cardi B while she was performing the song Bodak Yellow on stage. Immediately, Cardi B threw the microphone at this female audience member.
Cardi B’s actions were criticized by many viewers for being unrestrained and violent. After a few seconds of calm, the female rapper continued performing on stage while the audience splashed water and was invited to leave the event. The woman whose microphone was thrown by Cardi B went to report the incident to local authorities.
However, a statement from the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department later said: “After a thorough review of Cardi B’s case and in consultation with the Clark County District Attorney’s Office, this case has been closed due to insufficient evidence. No charges will be filed in connection with this case.”
Also according to TMZ, the microphone that Cardi B threw is currently being auctioned on eBay for up to 30,100 USD. The microphone still worked well even though it was thrown very hard by the female rapper. The account owner posted for sale with the purpose of donating to an organization that supports children with special needs.
