Tiger Woods unveiled his now clothing line Sun Day Red ahead of his return to the PGA Tour at this week’s Genesis Invitational, with the gear set to be released to fans later this year
Tiger Woods’ newly-launched Sun Day Red clothing brand is set to be released to the general public in May, but fans in in the U.K. will not be able to get hold of items from the 82-time PGA Tour winner’s line.
After 27 years with Nike Golf, Woods announced he had cut ties with the brand last month, bringing an end to one of sport’s most iconic partnerships. After weeks of speculation, the 15-time major winner announced his new deal with TaylorMade, unveiling Sun Day Red earlier this week.
Announcing the launch, Woods said in a statement: “I have learned so much over the years and have a lifetime of experience adjusting my apparel and footwear to help me play better based on the way it was constructed.
“There are things that I could tell you that no one knew I was doing over the years. I’m ready to share those secrets with the world. Sun Day Red will embody a love of playing and competing, and we are for people that share those values, whether it’s on the course, or in life.
“We will be anchored to putting the athlete first in the product decisions we make.” Woods has debuted his new apparel at this week’s Genesis Invitational at Riviera Country Club, with the 48-year-old making his first start on the PGA Tour of the 2024 season.
And after seeing the former world No. 1 sporting his new outfit in Los Angeles this week, fans will be able to kit themselves out in Woods’ gear with the clothing line going on sale to the general public. According to the Sun Day Red website, the clothing line will become available on May 1.
