The ‘Spider-Man’ co-stars have been dating since 2017.
Spider-Man fans and shippers of Tom Holland and Zendaya breathed a collective sigh of relief when the couple stepped out for a rare public date night in the wake of rampant breakup rumors.
On Thursday, Feb. 15, Zendaya walked the red carpet at the Dune: Part Two world premiere in London, England. The actress rocked a silver robot-esque suit solo at the event. However, she and Holland, both 27, were photographed together leaving an after-party.
In photos and in videos circulating online, the couple held hands as they left the party and headed to their vehicle—clearly signaling their coupledom is alive and well. Zendaya wore a black floor-length dress and black pumps at the event, while Holland wore an all-black outfit (T-shirt, vest and pants), too.
On Jan. 12, Holland set the record straight about his and Zendaya’s relationship status when TMZ caught up with him while he was out in Los Angeles.
“No, absolutely not,” he told a TMZ reporter who asked him if the breakup rumors were true.
Reports of their split came after Zendaya unfollowed everyone on Instagram, including her boyfriend. Add that curious move to the fact that that couple hadn’t been spotted together in public in months, and the rumors were rampant.
Interestingly, Zendaya fielded rumors that swung the opposite direction just a few months beforehand. The Euphoria actress posted a photo via her Instagram Story, prompting followers to hone in on a large ring she was wearing.
In a since-deleted video, she cleared up the engagement speculation. “I can’t post anything, you guys,” she said. “I posted it for my hat. Like, not for the ring on my right hand, you guys, seriously.”
Zendaya added: “You think that’s how I would drop the news? You think… like, what?!”
