A Happy Birthday IG greeting from 50 Cent to Dr. Dre earlier this week has fans excited for new music from the duo. “Happy Birthday to my boy Dre, we got some New Heat coming,” his caption read, along with a 2004 photo of the producer and MC together. Since 50 has teased working with Dre as recent as last year, fans are wondering when the collab is coming, and if it will me music or film.
Dr. Dre recently launched the canned alcoholic beverage Gin & Juice, a collaboration with Snoop Dogg. “Together, we always try to create magic, we’re having fun being creative, and everything about this product is really us,” says Dr. Dre. “There’s passion behind it, and friendship and love and a culture. We’re shooting to make everything we do magnificent, and fortunately, most of the time we hit the target.”
In other 50 Cent news, Eminem responded recently to the rumor of an Eminem and 50 Cent project. Em revealed that he’s willing, but did not confirm that there was any truth to the rumor.
“Where did that come from,” the “Slim Shady” rapper asked, before responding that it’s time for new 50 Cent music. “I don’t know whose idea that was, but that’s crazy,” he said. “I’m trying to get him to make a new album so bad. We need another 50 album like really bad. Fif is on a roll right now, he’s been on a roll since the [Final Lap] tour.”
“Whatever he needs from me, I’m here,” Em said. “That shit would be crazy though, an album with me and him.”
