Aquaman 2: Amber Heard Breaks DC Box Office Record Even Gal Gadot, Dwayne Johnson Couldn’t

Amber Heard has emerged as the reigning queen of the DC Extended Universe (DCEU) despite facing tough competition from films like Wonder Woman 1984 and Black Adam. Aquaman and the Lost Kingdom, the sequel to the highly successful 2018 film Aquaman, has become the first DCEU film since Aquaman to surpass $400 million in global box office earnings.

Although the film has received mixed reviews from critics, it has outperformed its closest competitors in recent years, including Wonder Woman 1984 and Black Adam. The success of Aquaman 2 may signal positive developments for the future of the DCEU.
