When you have a successful career, millions in the bank and a fabulous jet-set lifestyle, the first thing you should buy is one of the hottest properties on the market.
And the emphasis is really on location, location, location for these celebs, who’ve all snapped up some of the flashiest mega-mansions in the exclusive Los Angeles neighbourhood of Beverly Hills.
Here, we take a look at some of the hottest houses in the Hills…
Robbie Williams and Ayda Field
Worth: $49.50m, wine cellar and pantry
Robbie Williams and his wife Ayda Field recently sold their multi-million pound LA mansion to Drake.
However, they haven’t gone far – reportedly splurging $49.5million on a sprawling property in the same area.
The huge home boasts a tennis court, koi pond, gated garage, pantry and wine cellar.
Drake
Worth: $50m, outdoor kitchen & private cinema
With 11 car parking spaces and a staggering 22 bathrooms, the pad Drake bought from Robbie is huge even by Hollywood standards.
Measuring 25,000 square feet, the property contains a cinema, lift, pool and even an outdoor kitchen.
There is also a wine cellar, gym and a staggering 22 bathrooms.
Previously, Drake had been testing the Beverly Hills waters by staying in a seven bedroom, $65million mansion, which even boasted its own moat.
Ellen DeGeneres
Worth: $8.5m, chef’s kitchen and courtyard entrance
Chat show host Ellen DeGeneres and her wife Portia de Rossi recently purchased a new $8.5million Beverly Hills mansion.
The couple will have plenty of privacy, as their new home is located in a private and guard-gated enclave of Hidden Valley Estates.
All new fixtures, finishes and systems have been added to the home to create a more modern feeling, while a chef’s kitchen was also built with top-of-the-line appliances.
The layout of the mansion remains true to the original design and incorporates terrazzo flooring and Calacatta Gold and Salt Marble countertops.
Rihanna
Worth: $23.8m, private parking for 10 super cars
They say its always a good idea to try and get on with your neighbours, but singer Rihanna doesn’t need to bother.
The pregnant star reportedly recently spent $10million buying the house directly next door to the five-bedroom, seven-bathroom mansion she had bought just months before, for $13.8million.
The pad was originally built in the late 1930s, with four bedrooms, four baths and just over 3,500 square feet of living space.
She also has access to her own cocktail bar, freestanding spa bath and a private gym, as well as a car park to store up to 10 super cars – which is handy as she has a £2.3million collection.
Hailey and Justin Bieber
Worth: $25.8m mansion boasting 10 bathrooms
Justin Bieber and wife Hailey initially purchased their mega-mansion home situated in Beverly Park in August 2020, for around $25.8million.
The sprawling residence boasts 2.5 acres of land, seven bedrooms, 10 bathrooms, a tennis court and a koi pond, among other features.
Of course, it’s not the only property the power couple – who wed in 2018 – own.
They also spend their time at their £3.9million 9,000 square foot Canadian lakefront mansion, and recently sold another property – again in the sought-after Beverly Hills area – for just under £8million.
Taylor Swift
Worth: $25m property oozing old Hollywood glamour
With a $80million portfolio to her name, singer Taylor Swift knows a thing or two about property.
She owns a collection of luxurious homes across the United States, including a 1934 Georgian Revival estate in LA.
The property boasts seven bedrooms and eight bathrooms, spanning 10,982 square feet.
The gorgeous home was previously owned by Hollywood film producer Samuel Goldwyn before Taylor bought it.
It’s not the first home Taylor has had in the area.
Previously she sold her stunning four-bedroom Beverly Hills bungalow for £2.1million, which came complete with five bathrooms, a wine cellar and a huge swimming pool.
