MrBeast is in an unspoken competition of becoming the most subscribed channel on YouTube
MrBeast who has over 256 million subscribers on YouTube and dethroned PewDiePie as the most subscribed individual on the platform, is now caught up in a competition against T-Series.
Jimmy Donaldson, also known as MrBeast, has never been the most subscribed channel on YouTube despite his popularity, however, this just might change.
T-Series, India’s largest music label and movie studio, currently holds the top spot with 263 million YouTube subscribers.
With its leading position now threatened, as MrBeast’s subscribers tend to keep growing, T-Series published a new video on Monday encouraging viewers to subscribe to the channel.
“I want to put India and my people at the top of the international platform,” the opening quote as a nod to the T-Series founder, Gulshan, read.
Even thought the video does not mention MrBeast directly, this particular call for action does stand out from the usual content T-Series post.
Given MrBeast’s rapid growth of gaining seven million subscribers in a month and a jump from 255 to 256 million just this week, T-Series has only attracted two million subscribers.
