Beautiful actress and Miss Israel Gal Gadot admitted that every time she acts, she always doubts herself and worries that no one will like what she does.
In an interview with L’Officiel, Gal Gadot revealed that she has Imposter Syndrome. This syndrome makes you feel deeply that you are not worthy of the success you have achieved, along with the fear of others “discovering” you are not that talented.
Gadot shared that she is lucky and happy to be able to do what she likes, but she also has many things to worry about: “I never thought ‘they will like this’, but I always felt ‘hopeful’. they’ll love it'”.
Francis Ford Coppola – the famous director of the Godfather trilogy – is the person who helped Gadot become more confident in herself: “I was always filled with doubts, afraid they wouldn’t like my work. However, , I just follow my heart and move forward humbly. This is one of the biggest lessons.”
Realizing that the two had sympathy, Gadot learned Coppola’s way – which is to always be humble and believe in yourself. After Fast X, the Israeli star starred in and co-produced the movie Heart Of Stone. Her husband, Jaron Versano, also participated in the production of this work.
Gadot shared that welcoming Wonder Woman was because she wanted to show the image of an independent woman who can do everything herself. Gadot’s character must be the type to be strong and not dependent on others, especially men: “With Wonder Woman, we proved that a universal story is still good, accepted by many people.
Therefore, I feel that an action movie with a female-centered character with a thorny personality will have a better place than a glossy superhero movie.”
