Season gets tougher for the Chiefs

Rashee Rice placed on injured reserve by the Chiefs

Rice has officially been placed on the injured reserve list, meaning he will miss at least four games, but the impact of his absence could extend much further.

Rice’s injury in Week 4 leaves a large void to fill, particularly considering that no other wide receiver on the roster has more than nine receptions this season.

Freshman Xavier Worthy will likely have to take on a more prominent role, similar to what Rashee Rice played last season. Receiver Justin Watson could also see an increased role. Kansas City will need key contributions from both JuJu Smith-Schuster and Skyy Moore to fill the void left by Rice.
