Angelina Jolie may seem like she has a charmed life thanks to her millions, fame and good looks.
But during an interview with Deadline on Wednesday, the 42-year-old Oscar winner maintained that she very much like most moms in the world because she has to juggle a career and kids.
‘We’re all trying to find balance,’ said the mother-of-six.
The siren was talking up her film The Breadwinner, which has been nominated for an Oscar.
The interview was done along with director Nora Twomey.
Based on a best-selling novel by Deborah Ellis, The Breadwinner tells the story of Parvana, a young Afghan girl whose father is sent to prison, and must then dress as a boy to provide for her family.
Also in the article it was confirmed that Jolie will be shooting Maleficent 2 soon.
When asked how she balances it all, the Salt actress said: ‘I think that’s life, isn’t it? I’m sure you’re the same as a person. You have your creative, and you have your work, and every day of your life is going to be about somehow growing as a person.
‘Somehow feeling you can contribute to the extent that you can get tribute.’
She also seemed to have a close bond with Nora.
‘Nora and I, when we spend time alone, spend most of our time just talking about being moms, and I think that’s the balance.
‘We’re all trying to find balance, as people. I think to be a balanced person, you have to find those things that you just purely enjoy.’
And she explained her urge to help people around the world with her work as a humanitarian.
‘If you aren’t participating in the bigger picture of life, and in being somehow useful, and you aren’t doing something and growing, then really, you’ll find you’re not very happy. Really, you’ll have quite an empty life.’
Her contributions are phenomenal as she has worked hard to gain rights for women in war torn countries.
The Tomb Raider actress has also helped refugees around the world.
And she’s even helped wildlife by making contributions to nature reserves like the one for cheetahs in Namibia’s Namib desert.
She is most likely the Hollywood star who has the biggest impact globally on helping people out.
Also in her Deadline interview she was asked about how both The Breadwinner and her other film, First They Killed My Father, have helped women gain strength as each film features a strong young girl making her way.
‘I think if both of these films maybe highlight anything, it’s not just the vulnerability of women, but that this is not a “today issue.”
‘This has been an issue for a very, very long time. There have been people fighting this battle for a long time, and there are little girls like [Breadwinner character] Parvana, on the border of Myanmar, who are being raped, today, and not enough is being done. Not enough is being spoken about on their behalf.’
The Girl, Interrupted star added: ‘This little girl, Parvana, and what she went through, and the fact that over half the girls in Afghanistan still don’t have an education, and how dangerous their lives are, and how much poverty they live in, also just illustrates the bigger, global problems women are facing.’
Jolie has six children with Brad Pitt, who she is in the process of divorcing.
Those kids are sons Maddox, Pax and Knox as well as daughters Shiloh, Zahara and Vivienne.
There have been several reports that Jennifer Aniston wants to be close to Brad again now that she is divorcing Justin Theroux, but People claimed she is not looking back and they have not spoken ‘in ages.’
