Another day, another truly out-of-this-world Zendaya moment. Even though the star turns out a look at literally every event, we’re still breathless every time she steps on a red carpet or goes out on the town.
The latest in Z’s ever-expanding fashion hall of fame comes courtesy of her longtime stylist, Law Roach, who shared a short video of the actor in Paris wearing a truly jaw-dropping Vivienne Westwood corset top and matching trousers from the Andreas Kronthaler for Vivienne Westwood fall/winter 2023-2024 collection.
“Private collection,” Roach captioned the video, likely alluding to this piece being a very special part of his archive. In true Westwood fashion, the top features a structured corset bodice that dips off the shoulders and blooms into bold ruffled sleeves; even though Zendaya is moving and posing throughout the video, the top retains its incredible couture shape, cinching in tightly at the waist and popping out at the hip.
The matching pants are a simple, classic style that hit right at the ankle bone. Z paired the set with a pair of brown pointed-toe pumps and a brown belt, keeping her accessories simple to let the set be the well-deserved center of attention.
Exclusive, precious designer pieces are a cornerstone of Zendaya and Roach’s collaborations. Most recently, Zendaya wore a Louis Vuitton cropped puffed sleeve top from 2004 — one worn on the runway by Naomi Campbell, no less — pairing it with Levi’s and white heels. At the NAACP Image Awards in early 2023, she slipped into not one but two vintage and vintage-adjacent looks; her red carpet gown was a green and black strapless Versace couture dress from 2002, so not technically vintage yet, but her second outfit, a 1993 Prada bra top and skirt, definitely was. What else will Roach pull out of that magic personal collection for his most fashion-forward client? We can’t wait to see.
