Youtuber MrBeast changes 600 people’s lives with a simple mode of transportation

GREENVILLE, N.C. (WNCT) — MrBeast is notorious for using his large platform to help people. In his latest MrBeast Philanthropy video, he’s helping 600 of them.

In his new video, titled “Changing the Lives of 600 Strangers” he starts by saying that over 150 million people in the United States alone have limited methods of transportation. In poorer countries, that number is even higher, making it even more rare for people to have any way to move around besides by foot.

MrBeast asked his subscribers to send in a video, nominating someone they thought could benefit from an E-bike, something similar to a motorized bike but rechargeable. After receiving thousands of videos, he was eager to give the bikes away.

Lectric donated $600,000 in electric E-bikes to be given away. The first bike was given to someone in Greenville, where MrBeast lives.

The other 599 modes of transportation were given to people selected through the videos sent in through the subscribers

In addition to the woman in Greenville who received the first bike, the video shows Interfaith Refugee Ministry in New Bern also received bikes. A man who has been serving at Community Crossroads Center in Greenville got the gift of one, too.
