Pearsall was reportedly the victim of a robbery in San Francisco’s Union Square while he was on his way to an autograph signing. A scuffle ensued and both Pearsall and the 17-year-old sustained gunshot wounds. Pearsall was reportedly shot in the chest.
Fortunately, Pearsall is reportedly in stable condition. The 49ers said in a team statement that his family have asked for privacy at this time.
