Shakira And Tom Cruise’s Controversy
A recent example of Shakira’s personal life being known to everyone would be the very public confession of interest by A-List actor Tom Cruise made towards the singer. Sources close to Cruise stated revealed that the actor was ‘extremely interested’ in pursuing the Columbian singer. They revealed that upon hanging out together more frequently, the actor felt a deeper connection with her, something he would like to explore more.
“He’s known Shakira loosely for years, but this was his first time hanging out with her in a relaxed setting, and he came away convinced they had a real connection they needed to build on,” stated the source.
However, it would seem that these feelings are one-sided as it has been revealed that even though Shakira enjoys the actor’s company, she has absolutely no romantic attraction towards him, adding that the entire situation was getting out of hand. While this on its own is quite embarrassing for those who are involved, Shakira seems to have as become part of another controversy, this one involving her children.
Shakira Criticized For Bringing Her Children To An Award Show
Shakira recently went to the Premios Juventud at the José Miguel Agrelot Coliseum in San Juan, Puerto Rico. While the night on its own why quite successful for the singer, as she won eight awards in various categories, there was some controversy that sparked relating to who was in attendance with her at this award show.
“What you are doing cannot be done because you do not give an example to your children, you do not give an example to society”. Hernandez added, “What is more appropriate, what Shakira does by taking her children out wherever she wants? or what Piqué does by taking his children to Barcelona parties?”.
Shakira brought with her, her two children, Milan who is 10, and Sasha who is 8. Kiko Hernandez, a Spanish television host, seemed to have quite a lot to say about the singer’s decision to bring her young children with her, stating that bringing them to an award show was wildly inappropriate on Shakira’s part, adding that she was setting a poor example for them.
