Angelina Jolie undergoes a demonic transformation in teaser for Sleeping Beauty reboot Maleficent

She’s considered one of the most beautiful women in the world.

But for her latest film Angelina Jolie dons prosthetics to portray a demonic witch in Maleficent.

In a just released teaser for the Sleeping Beauty reboot, the 38-year-old star is nearly unrecognisable as her cheekbones are augmented into sharp ridges and her ears are given a new pointy shape.

For most of the sneak peek, the Mr And Mrs Smith star wears a large ram horn helmet as she stalks around in a dark fur-lined coat while clutching a sceptre.

Wearing deep red lip paint, the bright eyed actress is still strangely stunning even under all of her make-up and prosthetic enhancements – making her look ever so slightly like a plastic surgeon’s botched creation.

The trailer promises to tell the untold story of Maleficent, who was simply a nemesis in the original animated 1959 Disney film who put Princess Aurora to sleep.
