Earlier this week, the Pagani Zonda 760LH, once owned by Formula 1 world champion Lewis Hamilton, was wrecked in Wales, UK.
A dashcam video of the accident has now surfaced online, providing us with a front-row view of the sequence of events.
The video shows a convoy of supercars approaching the Penmaenbach Tunnel in Conwy, Wales. The driver of the Zonda 760LH can be seen accelerating just as the cars enter the tunnel. The sudden acceleration causes the rear tires to break traction sending the Zonda crashing into the left side tunnel wall. As you would agree, it was totally avoidable had the driver been a little cautious.
Images shared on social media earlier give us a good idea of the extent of the damage. The front and rear suspension were ripped from the chassis. The headlights, windshield and several carbon fibre body panels would also need replacing.
