In case you’re frugal and don’t spend your money easily – you’ve got to learn from this 10-year-old! We’re talking about Beyonce and Jay-Z’s daughter Blue Ivy Carter who stunned the audience by spending a whopping $80 k on a pair of earrings at the recently held Wearable Art Gala in Los Angeles. The young lass bid on a set of sparkling Lorraine Schwartz earrings worn by her grandmother (and the event’s co-founder), Tina Knowles. In the video that is now going viral on social media, Knowles along with Keke Palmer and Quinta Brunson can be seen encouraging the audience to bid on the precious pair. That’s when Blue who was sitting at the very end gets up and holds the placard in the air as the crowd watches in awe. Monique Rodriguez, the founder of Mielle Organics, however, made the winning bid for $105 k and took home the stunning earrings.
This isn’t the first time Blue has flexed her skills at an auction. In 2019, she bid $19k on an item (an acrylic painting of a young Sidney Poitier) at the Wearable Art Gala as a six-year-old. And while her feisty spirit is applauded by auctioneers, the Internet seems to be divided on it.

A Twitter user on the viral video lamented, “That’s probably her daily allowance. She good,” while another said, “I think this is lunch money for her.” What are your thoughts on Blue Ivy’s confident bid?
