In 1971, a number of limited-edition Mustangs and packages were sold. The T-5 had the coolest tale, while having the least exciting customizing options. Ford had to change the Mustang to the Ford T-5 because, as we mentioned in the 1966 T-5 piece, the German truck company Krupp owned the German copyrights to the term Mustang. Between the 1964 model year and the 1979 model year, T-5s were sold in Germany.
